The area where students have been found to excel on reaching University are the home schooled children of America. Haven't heard regarding other countries, but one can expect the same to be occurring.


Ordinary family, but home schooled by their nurse trained mother. Incredible outcomes. The secret seems to be allowing the children to follow their passions.

A list of successful home schooled people at this link, but it seems they left Agatha Christie out, although is all her parents did was ensure she could read, so not really schooled at all as such.

Seems that our schools are knocking the stuffing out of the kids when compared to those whose parents have taken the task on themselves despite having no teacher training themselves.
