My feeling is that the delays are caused by the high costs involved with the project and that's why the company would need to keep reviewing the drafts from the consultants on the DFS so the outcome looks favourable. Since it's taken over 6 months, it may be line ball whether the project is actually viable.
A bit worrying if you ask me & very frustrating.
