I know that you can't transpose the old days into the future but it appears to me that they teach very little actual knowledge in schools today

The Basics (?) of history, geography, structure of the English language, the structure of mathematics etc are all forgotten in place of outings, trips and social engineering.

Just talk to the majority( I know some brilliant young people) of young people and their lack of knowledge of the World and Australia, their in-ability to talk or discuss is staggering, They are basically illiterate
