Sad to hear that a second "schoolie" has died, whilst celebrating the end of many years of school, before their transition into the work force.
Terribly sad for all parents as well. The same parents that pay for the expensive trips, expensive accomodation and supply enough cash for the copious amounts of alchohol that is consumed.
With talk of culling sharks due to the recent rise in shark related deaths, perhaps it is time to "cull" the schoolie celebrations as well?
Maybe even some here on HC have sent their children off on these celebrations. If so, I hope they return safely, not only for their sake, but yours as well.
