My apologies to whoever it was that thought I meant the parents of the two young people that lost their lives at schoolie celebrations.
"Terribly sad for all parents as well."
I should have expanded this sentence so that it read what it was meant to.
I mentioned "all" parents in the context that these parents generously, and lovingly, no doubt, but all too often, regretfully, allow their children to go and celebrate. So many times we now hear they either get "beat up", O/D on alchohol or even end up dying. All these things are overwhelming to deal with. My 21year old brother died in a car crash when I was 18, and I know what it's like when someone so young and close to you dies. I express my sympathy to all affected by these recent events.
