It's kind of funny, but far too over the top in my opinion. Why not even go a little further:
Scenario : Johnny is caught smoking behind the bike shed.
1950s - Johnny is give six of the best. He realises his mistake and becomes a doctor and cures cancer.
2019 - Johnny is sent to a rehabilitation center where he becomes exposed to hard drugs. He then becomes a master criminal and kills everybody in the whole world.
