security using shared computers

    Suggestion

I'm trying the freeware version (PassWord Logger) out on a USB (2) 256 megabyte device and find it works well. It is password encrypted (to open program) by using two completly different encryption methods (Blowfish AND Rjindael)

I'm looking at increasing security when logging into shared computers (Kiosk type as well) Will save me having to carry a laptop Which when traveling nowadays is a pain even the small ones (airport "security" or staff are likely to thieve it)

    What I'm doing is
    (1) check the connection visually between keyboard and "tower" to see if no hardware keyboard loggers are plugged in

    (2) run from your USB "SpyBot Search & destroy" (freeware program worth a donation) from your USB device
    http://security.kolla.de/

this looks for many common "software" keyboard loggers and other spyware

Will allow you to delete all the loggers on computer. It should be safe to do so, do not worry about crashing machine, ask for a rebate if it does and call the police The Kiosk needs investigating and probably arresting. I would look for another Kiosk unless desperate

    (3) If the computer passes the test use the "Password Depot" to log into your password protected sites. WARNING this program does put login and your password in clear text to the memory of that computer

I after closing "Password Depot" run a memory defrager which also runs from your USB device

    ***file sizes***
"Password Depot" uses 1.5 meg on USB freeware for 25 URL's

"SpyBot" uses 8 meg (but grows as you get latest definitions)

The Memory Defrager I'm using is under a meg and shareware

Just in process of testing things out (do not consider using Kiosk computers 100% secure using my method, I believe it makes it *more* secure How much trying to find out?
