as to the 'challenge' of Netanyahu - he signalled zero intent of going anywhere - look no further than his first moves when Hamas attacked -
he passed laws which made it impossible to ditch him and a couple of other positions - I can't recall the exact laws - but, it was crystal clear that he expected some kind of political resistance and set it up that he couldn't be removed OR held to account for whatever actions he did
he knew, IMO - what he intended ------------ crystal clear all the way
