I once had sciatica - not terribly severe but enough to be really annoying and irritating as you just can't seem to get rid of it. I went to one of those chinese massage places in a shopping centre for an all over massage and did not mention the sciatica. Towards the end the therapist leaned over and asked if I would like to have another 30 minutes to work on my sciatica. I have no idea how he identified I had it, but he did, I said yes, and the next day it was gone and has never come back.
I am pretty sure I have seen some of them advertise 'sciatica massage'. Might be worth a try.....
