"I have one brick or I have a pack, the pack is going to take more strength to lift, because there is more of the buggers and no magical mysterious pull or force. One doesn't need an apple on the head to explain that."

Why do you think more bricks require more strength (force) to lift? That force is called gravity - call it a magical mysterious pull or force if you like because we still don't know what the force that we call gravity is even though we can calculate its effects.

The moon getting further way! - we know why this is happening and use the theory of gravity to explain what is happening.

Houston, we have problem. Wotsup's moon calculations are up the creek without a paddle.
