I think the odds of life somehow appearing out of inorganic compounds to be impossible.
But here we are.
Has it happened elsewhere.
"Common sense" says that in a universe as vast as ours, it must have.
But maybe the odds are so infinitely small, that even in an infinitely large universe it only happened once.
What wins out - infinite small odds or infinitely big universe?
However it came about, life has beaten the odds at least once, here on Earth.
