This is not a reply to anybody, rather a general comment. My son-in-law is a Dr of Molecular Biology. Headed up the research department at Westmead Hospital. He is now reviewing international medical patents and they are awarded or rejected on his say-so.
We spent today together and he mentioned that in his entire career he had never met a scientist that didn't believe in some higher power. He had never personally met a scientist that was an atheist.
It seems that scientists may understand the essential connection of science and religion better than the true believers do.
