Geothermal Power is not an option in Oz. You need a volcanic source of heat as in NZ, Iceland, etc, producing steam. Suggested "hot rock" sources in Oz (hot granites at depth) cannot economically work. The cost of drilling relativally large, deep drill holes and the fact that the heat ( down hole ) diminishes in a time that renders the whole exercise non-viable. Do your industry research.
