It is not only the Japanese who are wising up to tamiflu. In todays (07Jan14) Australian at page seven is an article titled "Science shamed by eagerness to omit inconvenient facts", it slams tamiflue (delicious I know). The following is the first paragraph which will give you the general gist:
"Perhaps it should be called Tamiflugate. Yet the doubts reported by Britain's House of Commons public accounts committee last week go well beyond the possible waste of nearly half a billion pounds on a flu drug that might not be much better than paracetamol. All sorts of science are contaminated with the problem of cherry-picked data."
It goes on to detail the selective use of trials etc and sites the story of tamiflue (I think most here know that story).
I think this another nail in tamiflu!!!!
