    The last time there was flooding in eastern Australia to equal the recent events, was in 1974. Before that it was 1955. And before that it was 1920. Ie. a roughly 30 year cycle.

    That cycle means that most of the current crop of climate-changers have no recollection or experience of any such earlier event. Ergo, their alarm at the change.

    Its understandable. Its a bit like the stock market. Those who lived through 1987 had a different take on the recent GFC to those who did not.

    It really does not matter what we think. Nothing we do in Australia will have the slightest effect on climate.
