    I would not ignore that fact. Nor do I ignore the fact it's not abolished in the Quran.
    In fact slavery is found in Judeo-Christian and Islamic Holy Books.
    Doesnt make Muhammad "unholy". He stands alongside Moses and Jesus in this regard.

    What Prophet Muhammad did however was to treat them with kindness and a relative liberty.

    Don't ask me what the wisdom was for God to allow slavery in the Bible and the Quran. The point for me is that the Bahai Writings formally abolish it and Bahá'ís were at the forefront, amongst others, in fighting its abolition in mainstream society.
