Why only mention China? There are many countries with poverty. I spent 2 years in the Philippines and the poverty there was terrible. There are wealthy people too and they mingle together happily but I have never seen so many guns before. Security guards pat you down before you can enter the SM mall. I have sent tens of thousands of dollars to help the wife's extended family. They work but 400 pesos day does not really pay their bills. Electricity is the same price in the Philippines as here so power is very expensive. How would you like paying $1000 a month for your household power?
