Power to the people. Due to such a large number of complaints from the public regarding the August takedown where 2 banks controlled 25% of all open interest (on the short side) the CFTC is going to investigate for possiible manipulation. And this time they are using a different division. The enforcement division, which looks at activities in a specific time period as opposed to the oversight division, which performs overall market surveillance. Lets hope they are a bit more thorough than the last time.
