The silver lining in copping it together no one gets an advantage , surely that's helpful for recommencement, ensuring there isn't a demographic divide, maintaining real estate fairness etc
aditionally imo the second problem with the part shutdown is that not only do those businesses in certain industries who don't bounce back fold, but those industries (discretionary spending , hospitality etc) are now stigmatised and business people less likely to dip the toe in again lest this happens again.
the govt has basically said certain industries should always be nervous from now on.
