Back in March 2020 Scomo adopted the right course of action in dealing with Covid, only to be repeatedly undermined by state Premiers:

Yet here we are back at square one where the only metric that now matters is suppressing demand on hospitalisations and ICU presentations, as it would have been all along if not for Chicken Little Premiers enthralled by panicked epidemiologists advocating no community transmission:
