"They say their priority is to keep us safe". Yeah, like governments spending probably billions by now on the basically trivial danger of terrorism which has killed like five people in 30 years.They use this bogeyman to erode our freedoms and win votes.The real dangers are related to extreme weather events such as bushfire,drought,flood,heatwaves and cyclones which are exacerbated by climate change.How much have governments on both sides spent to mitigate these far bigger threats.?
