Eagle, I realise this is a left v right issue to you. I don't see it that way. The pragmatic issue is that China and India aren't participating in this wind back of industry. Worldwide consumption of steel, aluminium, goods is increasing. The production is rapidly shifting to China and India. The environmental restrictions in those country are lower. Overall it is cleaner to have production in Western countries yet we are going in the other direction.
The de industrialisation of Australia is a travesty. We have two blast furnaces left.
