@mickban; the recent election demonstrated that lying to Australians is a Coalition art form and that in contrast Labor is naïve and inept. That's now being bolstered by even greater levels of censorship, intimidation and bullying of the bureaucracy and the media to the point where even some Murdoch Mouthpieces have become concerned.
As if that's not enough the Coalition is stacking senior positions with former military personnel - not unlike what we see in Uganda, Egypt, Burma, North Korea.
As for what the PURPOSE of government really is; people must always come before corporate greed and protected privilege of the kind exposed by Ken Haynes RC into the financial services sector Scott Morrison and Co fought so hard to avoid.
