will it stop people voting for lying deceptive people ------?
we humans look as if we fully accept liars --------- even pathological liars
indeed - we may well have a preference if they're pathological, as opposed to ones who lie occasionally - perhaps because we know that every time they open their mouth - the truth is clearly absent (hence predictable and reliable)
it doesn't seem to matter as long as they are matching our inner anger
ref --------- Donald Trump - almost half an entire nation (supposedly developed) - was happy to have the pathological liar continue in his public role.
That people know that scomo is a liar, insensitive, empathy free, self serving
in full knowledge - many will vote in people, who if the party wins - will ensure that scomo remains as PM
such are humans.
Wonder not why we still have wars, poverty, homelessness and poor health outcomes
