What would you expect? It is Hawaii, there is nothing to do there, it is like Auckland without the culture. It is volcanic as well, so it is like White Island without the imbeciles, perhaps Morrison was trying to stay as close to Australia as possible without being anywhere near Jacinda Ardern. Staying as far away from Ardern is possible, due to the fatalism that has befallen NZ of late, might be the new responsibility of everyone in the Southern Hemisphere?

Hawaii is quite a costly place also, it costs as much to holiday there as go to New York, and arguably New York even at this time of year when it is frigid, sleeting and snowy has more to offer, Times Square, the Hudson and all the sights. Of everywhere in Polynesia, Hawai'i would be the last place I would choose. Tahiti, Fiji, Samoa, New Caledonia, would be better, unless he was trying to go to America for some strange reason. But then again anywhere in the Pacific is close to Ardern and all of the fate that befalls being close to Ardern.
