As a result of trashing his own reputation and being considered lacking in empathy, Scott Morrison's days as Australian Prime Minister could now unfortunately be well and truly numbered.

His hubris and lack of empathy will now be easily forgotten and he may now be regarded as well and truly a "dead man walking" Prime Minister.

His reputation has gone from being a hero to now zero and a liability for the LNP in many areas especially in his home state of New South Wales where I suspect his reputation is irreparably tarnished due to his complacency, hubris and over-inflated ego.

Though these have been partly caused by an ALP out of touch, out of mind and moving from paedophile scandal to NSW ICAC. QLD CCC and Melbourne Metro scandals to Hawke Landeryou scandals, these bubble scandals are insignificant compared to these beltway fire fighting issues that Morrison is now seen as lacking in empathy towards and being pilloried for. President Trump would not have been so lacking in judgement compared to how Morrison has behaved.

These issues have real effect on people and the Prime Minister's reputation has been trashed.

The Liberals will have to start looking for another leader as this has potentially been his Whitlamesque loans affair type moment.

Although the ALP are presently unelectable, there will be a fair few Nationals MPs and Liberals MPs who for probably the whole of 2020 will hear about how Morrison went away to Hawaii with a where the hell are ya attitude at the end of 2019.

With Morrison leading the party, LNP may in future be unable to win the fire affected electorates of Calare, Eden Monaro, Lyne, Farrer, Hume and Cowper at the next election. Their communities may be too bruised to vote for Morrison after this Hawaiian debacle.

I think the LNP will have a new leader and new Prime Minister by the end of 2020. Morrison will probably have to resign when the criticism gets too much throughout the year. The Australian economy will have to be absolutely fabulous throughout the year and the ASX hit continual record highs for Morrison to keep his job and reputation at the helm of his party.
