I would have thought he was a snowball's chance in Hell of losing in 2022 after single-handedly carrying the entire Coalition across the line last time. Add to that the predisposition of the electorate to stick solid with leaders in a time of crisis and an appreciation for protective leaders and it's very hard to see him getting rolled. But he's really been giving the testing of that hypothesis the good old college try. He has made a lot of mistakes, many many mistakes, many of them what most here would call rookie or dopey mistakes.

At this moment TAB has the Coalition at $1.70 and that looks over the odds by a little bit (assuming the Prime Minister retains the leadership). The ace up his sleeve is that the Opposition have not been offering a particularly sharp alternative to date, and are struggling to define their message.

I can't see it being overwhelming though Pints, that feels a bit partisan.
