Looks like Scomo has thrown in the towel and is going to let Omicron rip. At least in the Eastern states.
Omicron is the most contagious strain yet co workers and friends not considered close contacts whereas with less contagious strains they were the cause of spread.
Omicron is going to bloom.
If that's the case we need to give up redundant formalities; 1) QR codes are pointless and should be abolished since there will be no more contact tracing. 2) The interstate border measures can be abolished between the Eastern States, Omicron is blooming in all of them. 3) No point in PCR testing, or ever RAT testing, save the pointless expense. 4) Immediately reduce the booster waiting times to 3 months. 5) Abolish compulsory quarantine times. 6) Open the international borders.
