You really don't understand what a forestry industry is, it's not just about cutting down trees, they replant what they harvest.
An industry like this has to be self maintained and they do it quite well indeed.
Better than what I see in the SE Qld with development going on, hundreds of hectors flattened and nothing to take it's place except concrete and bitumen and all these trees are koala habitat.
Why aren't you complaining about this as I find this totality destructive, Qld government are not interested as they support this.
