As for OXR, no question it is M/A speculation. Got no idea who - but there a few canidates out there who would see an unhedged producer the perfect medicine to there own (heavily) hedged positions. Lighten the load so to speak. Im no finance person but would amagine it would free up the balance sheet of a hedged producer from marked to market losses. A scrip bid a clever but transparant manouver.
Anyway just idle thoughts
