    Some further common sense here:

Here we are, 18 months into the pandemic, and most of thecountry is in lockdown with hundreds of thousands of Australians stuck at homewithout incomes.

Given we’ve learnt a lot about the virus since it was thrustonto us by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), data is emerging that suggestslockdowns, while well-intentioned, may in fact do more harm than good.

“New American research published last week, comparing thepolicies of 50 US states and 43 countries, fails to find evidence thatlockdowns saved lives in net terms,” Adam Creighton wrote in The Australian this week.

“Indeed, it seems they’ve killed people.”

Even where lockdowns reduce virus transmission, their benefitsare unclear because of increases in social isolation, drug abuse, suicide, child abuse, domestic violence and missed cancer screenings.

I understand the CCP virus is a diabolically difficult problemfor the government, but where is the national leadership?

    What’s the plan ScoMo?

Maybe it’s time to think about drawing a line in the sand andonce every Australian has had the opportunity to get a vaccine by the end ofthe year, then we just get on with life?

We’d treat the virus just like the flu, albeit a more dangerousone.

That way the federal election, due sometime over the next 12months, will be about the issues you care about – Australia’s freedom, security, and prosperity – not just the CCP virus.

This is critical because every day, while the pandemic drags onand on, there is another attack on the Australian values that have made ourcountry great.

Under the cover of COVID, woke politicians and bureaucrats haveworked day and night to turn your children’s classrooms into critical racetheory training camps stripped of Australian history.

This week we learned some of the people advising the AustralianCurriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) believe Australia was“founded on white supremacy” and promoted a social media post which said, “f---your flag”.

Federal Education Minister Alan Tudge now says the historycurriculum should be “where students learn to love our country and have adesire to make a contribution to it”.

But he still hasn’t said what he’s going to do about it.

Advance Australia and its supporters need more than just wordsthat point in the right direction. We need action.

On another note, congratulations to Advance Australiaspokeswoman Jacinta Price, who has been picked as the Country Liberal Party’snumber one senate candidate for the Northern Territory.

One thing I know about Jacinta is that she’s spent a lifetimeputting Australians like you first.

She doesn’t want to divide us into different boxes, depending onthe latest trends in identity politics – and that’s something Australians arecrying out for right now.

With so much going on, it’s easy for Canberra to lose sight ofwhat’s important.

It’s lucky we have you to remind them.

    Have a good weekend,
