I originally though the same as yourself when I saw the 5200l figure.
However the missing detail is the concentration of acid and any washing steps. I dont believe any of this information was released, or maybe I havent read the anns properly.

There are some ancient figures from one of the met work announcemts that stated something like 11% sulfuric acid (dilute).
The concentration can be quite important in terms of reagent costs but also the type of materials used in parts of the plant (mild steel vs specific alloys - CAPEX).
