    here is what Carolyn Dennis from The Critical Metals Report said on 1 May 2012:-

    "we look at the REO distribution by generating an index number that sums up the grades of the critical elements neodymium, praseodymium, dysprosium, terbium, europium and yttrium. We divide that by the sum of the grades of cerium and lanthanum. That determines which deposits have more of the "right stuff" and less of the elements that will be in oversupply"

    a rather simple measure isn't it and when applied to PEK you end up with approximately 25% (the right stuff) divided by 75% (the cerium and lanthanum) = 33%

    PEK ends up with a lower score than most other rare earth deposits due to around 75% of the deposit being cerium and lanthanum

    and to think Carolyn could see the pig back hiding behind the lipstick back on 1 May 2012 using this one simple measure
