If btr were $40 a share then what would that make bhp worth a share? Not 35 bucks, i reckon you might be looking at 3500 dollars instead??? Madness!!!!
If Scott can deliver $3 a share in this market in the near future then I would not complain if he took 10 million oppies as a bonus!
The shortfall of the offer will go to the underwriter or sub underwriters.... I doubt they will have any trouble flogging them off to glen core or any other major.
