---------------------------------------------------------- Achievements to date and Forward Program
20,000 metre RC drilling program committed; 12,000 m drilling already completed in 2008. Aim is for an initial JORC resource by July 2008. Additional Diamond drilling to commence. Detailed Geophysical surveys commissioned; Preliminary Gravity survey completed. Heritage clearance surveys completed at Railway East Target Area, Jumbo Junction Target Area and Yandi Headwaters CID Target Area. Environmental studies commenced. Scoping Study Completed (subject to JORC) Port Facility negotiations at Port Hedland continue. Pre-Feasibility studies initiated. Production aim for late 2009.
Three major target areas for drilling commencing in July 2008 Railway East Target Area is a 6km strike zone under cover east of the main Railway Prospect. Jumbo Junction Target Area, 5km west of BHPB Area C Mine, has potential for major Marra Mamba discovery. Yandi Headwaters Channel Iron Deposit Target Area, located upstream of the BHPB Yandi Mine has potential for a major near surface CID discovery. Ten other exploration target areas have been identified elsewhere on the UMC leases.
------------------------------------------------------------ PILBARA IRON ORE PROJECT - DEVELOPMENT OPTIONS
Scoping study completed and pre-feasibility studies underway with Prodetheus Consultants The pre-feasibility studies will include accessing the FMG multi-user railway located 110km north of the prospect and associated multi-user port facilities at Port Hedland. The following project development concepts will be examined: A 2 million tonne per annum direct shipping ore (DSO) operation using contract mining, crushing and screening, with road haulage of the DSO products to a railhead on the multi-user FMG railroad for rail freight to Port Hedland for export. A 5 million tonne per annum direct shipping ore (DSO) operation using contract mining, crushing and screening, with a purpose built spur rail haulage of the DSO products to connect with the multi-user FMG railroad for rail freight to Port Hedland for export. A 10 million tonne per annum direct shipping ore (DSO) operation using contract mining, crushing and screening, with a purpose built spur rail haulage of the DSO products to connect with the multi-user FMG railroad for rail freight to Port Hedland for export. Pre-feasibility studies to be accelerated on completion of initial JORC Resources Discussions underway with Port Hedland Port Authority to reserve handling facilities at the port
