The two proposed locations in Scotland were near a major town and a city on prime farmland.
To reiterate the point that has already been raised a number times on this thread, Leigh Creek is a disused, highly contaminated coal mine.
I'm not saying that this article isn't relevant information but to compare the reasons why the Scots have temporarily banned UCG and how that relates to LCK is ridiculous
