Reading that, and combining with the debacle we saw during Covid with states making their own rules, the federal government scrambling to fix a disastrous lack of preparation. With the massive problems we see in Federation, God knows that should be enough evidence to tell every Australian that the system is not working. That we need a new system, but doesn’t mean an argument for a republic, but it sure means that we need something better.
