What the hell does Israel and their Western backers think they will get from this other than utter condemnation by the rest of the world?

If anyone praises this terrorist attack as some kind of a clever move, he should be considered crazy.

Do they not consider how this incident will look to the outside of the West?

If Western authorities accept this Israeli move, they are self-promoting Western imperialism as the most untrustworthy civilisation on earth.

Sending bombs for indiscriminate attacks mixed in with its products is "allowed".
How do ordinary people deal with someone who exposes such value standards?
If me, keep them away as much as possible.
So I believe that some of the authorities in the Global South and BRICS will increasingly look to non-Western sources for the tools they use in their own lives.

The modern West appears to care nothing about eroding their own future credibility.
