The Coalition may not care too much about winning the next election as they know it will be a poison chalice after the record debt they have run up. Also Covid will still be around along with all the divisions in society over how best to deal with the pandemic. And then there is China, the LNP is all at sea over how to deal with them. The only reason I can see them wanting to win is so they can continue to avoid setting up an ICAC.
