What's really funny is when deniers claim that the poor of the world will be starved of fossil fuel they forget to take notice of what's happening in the market today.

Even after 150 years, the fossil industry can't get it right. Crazy swings in prices forcing the poor to go without. Prices affected by wars, cartels, dictators and corrupt politicians. The fossil industry is well known for it's boom and bust record.
Of course the other important point the deniers are missing is that renewable energy is bringing energy to the poor. Thanks to the efforts of the west developing renewables, they are now very cheap and very accessible. Bypassing the fossil industry that has failed to supply the poor with energy for a century and a half.
