..... and don't leave out the Gas..... its a gas-led recovery remember.
so according to the Morrison/Taylor thought bubbles, increasing gas production, including CSG with a serious problem with leaking wells causing a dramatic increase in fugitive methane emissions, and CCS..... the Govt is looking to reduce emissions by waiting for new tech to come along and do the heavy lifting while the new gas pipeline (costing $Bs) will quickly become a stranded asset along with the new gas peaking plants (which cannot provide baseline energy as its too expensive).
no doubt the 50% reductions from this non-existent new tech and carbon price off-sets will achieve Australian emissions reductions sufficient to meet the net zero target - magic lisping duck..... simply magical thinking is all they have.
