Yes, let's change the system so we have run-off elections to decide the absolute majority winner.
Have a vote and if no-one gets more than 50% of the initial vote then hold another round between the two highest candidates.

Are you taking the piss? Hard to tell but that is exactly what pref voting does but you only vote once. I have nothing against pref. voting, but some don't understand it.
