Well well well, look who's in Australia this week. Additionally, the EITI confirms that Togo is approaching things "legitimately", which should give confidence to any rumours surrounding corruption on behalf of our directors/Togolese officials in this whole process.

On the eve of the opening of the Sixth World Conference on the Initiative for Transparency Initiative (EITI) held in Sydney, the Board of Directors approved Wednesday the accession of Togo which the application was filed in October 2010. The country meets in full the required by organizational criteria which ensure improved governance in resource-rich countries through the verification and full publication of payments made by companies and revenues received by governments from oil, gas and minerals.
The EITI is a coalition of governments, companies, groups from civil society, investors and international organizations.
The Board commended the Togolese government for its support for the process of transparency commitment.
For the Acting Minister of Mines and Energy, Noukopou Dammipi (photo), who is on site in Australia, the decision of the EITI is given to investors in the mining sector in development for several years strong signal. He thanked, on behalf of the government, all stakeholder groups that are involved in the process.
