Companies and large institutions all over the World are talking in $B's and not $M's. If it's not a 'B' it's not worth considering, $M's are so out of vouge and very 20th Century.
The SPP at $1.85 (which makes you laugh right off the bat) to raise A$150M for a World major airline smells of scraping the barrel.
From what little I understand a 777 costs about US$200M (~A$350M) and an A380 about $US300M (A$500M).
Based on above $150M is short change... and one smells that they need the money simply to partially return it as dividends to keep shareholders happy (a typical Ponzi type arangement - not too different from most other Capital raisings in this market).
STAY CLEAR OF THE $1.85 SPP.
