i agree that it is a buy. i did buy yesterday.
the sell down is i think firstly still part of dividend stripping plan, and secondly shorters came in just after telstra's announcement yesterday taking advantage of the fear it created amongst those who didn't really understand what the announcement was about.
yesterday the volume was 58,824,225 and short selling was 12,460,823. that is more than 21% of the shares traded.
