I like the woman, I think she is genuine and passionate, but I think Gladys has made a monumental mistake in locking down the construction industry. For the life of me I can't see the science or logic in this decision. First of, the general public are not allowed anywhere near a construction site, you even have to be a union member to be allowed in. Second, a lot of these workers work virtually alone, like plumbers, electricians, truck drivers. I just can't see the benefits outweighing the massive cost.
This could be her undoing, (along with the scandalous cost of toll roads in NSW).
