    singas,

I don't want to start an argument because I understand your sentiment with the number of shares VPE has on issue, but I reckon a 50:1 consolidation would likely see the new VPE shares trading at 20c as opposed to their current value of $2 (i.e 50 shares at 4c each).

While there are 1.7 gazillion shares on issue trading at 4c, nobody is really concerned that this gives VPE a market cap of about $70m. It's lost in the noise of volume and frenzy. Were there to be about 40m shares, trading at $2, people would actually start to compare it to its peers in terms of market cap - you know STU COE etc - and to be honest it would not be a flattering comparison. COE for example has over 1000 bopd production and at your rate of US$55/b that means COE has production of US$16.5m p.a. (at 300 days production per year). COE has a market cap of about $40m. Do you really think VPE is worth twice what COE is worth?

If I were a VPE holder I would be strongly hoping that they don't consolidate otherwise the smoke and mirrors might just dissappear.

    Cheers

    Badfish
