    OK, so just because it's old, doesn't mean it's accurate.

    Well that settles it. Most sceptics refuse to believe that the eyewitness accounts of the New Testament are accurate because they are dated after Jesus's death (but before 70AD, except for Revelation). So this one that's 500 years after the events has no chance of being true.



    ""The main subject of the fragment is to affirm that females who are mothers and wives can be disciples of Jesus —- a subject that was hotly debated in early Christianity as celibate virginity increasingly became hugely valued," King stated in a statement."

    So it seems to have been written at some point as an argument against Catholic doctrine?

    And, blowing it right out of the water...
