I am a reasonably basic investor, buy shares based on research, lose it, buy shares, sell for profit, rinse and repeat with the latter hopefully outweighing the former.

SCU is one I didn't understand, though, and hoping the community here can help clarify please. It hit the ground, then got delisted, then they changed name to BP8.

Where are my stocks now, are they gone and do I write it off as a capital loss, do I still own them albeit offmarket? I have tried contacting [email protected] and followed up many times but have not received a response. I'd like to assume changing company names doesn't suddenly mean you have no shares.

Thanks in advance, and sorry for the likely dumb question!
