Algo trading is not illegal, what should be illegal is the companies placing their servers on the same data centers where asx has theirs and having algorithms sniffing the network and intercepting buying and selling orders. For example, I lost count of times I sent a "sell at market" order that didnt get fully filled because other orders "magically" were sent before mine arrived to the asx. Anyways, it's difficult to prove, but it's largely known instos do that. Having said that, analysing the charts for SDA, it looks like the market is driving it to 67c.... watch out if there's a new low (under 81c) this week.
